This January I was presented with an opportunity to help others while challenging myself. I was given the chance to participate in the 112th running of the Boston Marathon. The challenge was not only running 26.2 miles but also raising $3,000.
Today I am asking for your support. The money I raise through donations will help fund programs that so many people in our communities need. Programs that include medical rehabilitation such as physical, occupational and speech therapy to programs that support people with autism. Easter Seals administers lifeskills training at their centers along with programs for social/residential integration and out patient therapy. I know how important these programs are because my son, Clay, has benefited from them.
