2018 Easterseals/CAI Volleyball Challenge

Belfint, Lyons & Shuman, CPAs

What is the CAI / Easter Seals Volleyball Challenge?

For over 30 years, the Volleyball Challenge has raised critically-needed funds to help Easter Seals provide exceptional services to children and adults with disabilities so they can achieve their greatest level of independence.

The 2018 CAI / Easter Seals Volleyball Challenge takes places on Friday, March 2; Saturday, March 3; and Sunday, March 4 at William Penn High School.

To join in the fun, team captains invite 6-10 individuals to become part of their team to play in a 90-minute rotation on one of the three days of the challenge.

Each team is encouraged to raise a minimum of $1,500. For a team of 10 people, that's a commitment from each team member to raise just $150!

By participating in this event, everyone can help change lives. Here are just some examples:

$150 helps provide physical therapy for a child with developmental delays.

$1,500 helps send a child or adult with disabilities to Easter Seals' Camp Fairlee Manor, where they can experience the joys and challenges of a fully-accessible summer camp.

The Volleyball Challenge offers teams a chance to have fun, exercise, win great prizes and meet some terrific new people!

Why am I participating in the 2018 CAI/Easter Seals Volleyball Challenge?

I want to help make a difference in the lives of children and adults who face significant challenges.

I believe that by participating in the volleyball challenge, I am personally investing in a kinder and stronger community and a world filled with infinite possibilities.

I trust that Easter Seals Delaware and Maryland’s Eastern Shore is a fiscally responsible organization. For over 28 years, the National Health Council has cited Easter Seals as the nationwide leader among its member voluntary non-profit healthcare organizations for the percentage of program dollars spent on direct client services. Nearly 90% of revenues are directed to services provided to children and adults with disabilities in our region.

I know that Easter Seals stands by its mission to provide exceptional services to ensure that all people with disabilities or special needs and their families have equal opportunities to live, learn, work and play in their communities.

Why do I need your help?

It's amazing how good it feels to make a difference in the lives of others. I'm committed to making a difference, and I'm asking you to support me. With your help, we can join Easter Seals in creating solutions that change lives.

What better reason is there? Please give what you can!
