For many people, their role as parent, spouse, sibling, adult, child or friend includes the role of family caregiver. A family caregiver provides or manages the care of someone who has a disability, a chronic or terminal illness, or who is experiencing the effects of aging.

Are you caring for a loved one with a disability or other special need - a child, spouse, sibling or parent? If so, you may be spending time learning about and balancing the caregiving needs associated with their health care. Although it may have been on your mind, you may not have had a chance to assess all of the financial implications associated with their future care in the event you are no longer able to provide care for them.

Additionally, MassMutual's LifeBridge (sm) Free Life Insurance Program offers qualified parents a $50,000 death benefit to pay the educational expenses of their children if the insured parent dies during the 10-year term of the policy. Under the program, individuals are eligible to participate if they are between the ages of 19 and 42; in good health; are currently employed (either full- or part-time); are the parent or legal guardian of one or more dependent children under the age of 18; are a permanent, legal U.S. resident; have a total family annual income between $10,000 and $40,000; and are the only family member who has applied for the Click here to read more about the LifeBridge Program.
