Who We Are

The Story of the Easter Seals Rehabilitation Center

Founded in 1937 as the Wheeling Society for Crippled Children, the Easter Seals Rehabilitation Center has a long history of providing quality programs and services to individuals with disabilities and developmental delays. Through programs such as early intervention, outpatient medical rehabilitation, medical services and a variety of educational programs, those with disabilities continue to find hope, dignity and independence.

Last fiscal year alone, the Easter Seals Rehabilitation Center provided 22,091 visits to 2,628 individuals while at the same time denying no child medically necessary services due to the inability to pay.  We provide high-quality, family-focused and mission-based services that meet the needs of our clients and their families.
