An Afternoon Feast at Hanson’s Pub Pig Roast to Benefit Easter Seals Rhode Island Children and Young Adults

Wakefield, RI — Wrap up your weekend with a roast—a pig roast that is! Hanson’s Pub is hosting a Pig Roast on Sunday, August 5 at 2:00pm, located at 210 Salt Pond Road in Wakefield, in conjunction with Papi’s Pig Roast, to benefit Easter Seals Rhode Island programs and services.

For $50 per person you can enjoy a freshly roasted pig, prepared by Papi’s Pig Roast, all the trimmings including baked beans, coleslaw, cornbread, potato salad, cake and a drink ticket. In addition to a fabulous meal, participants will also enjoy the smooth sounds of LIVE music by Ted & Ed, as well as a variety of drawings.

“I knew that I needed to be more involved with Easter Seals after attending their Red, White & Brew Beer and Wine Pairing,” said Gwen Woods, owner of Hanson’s Pub. “I was so inspired by the people I met, especially the dedication of the staff and members of the Easter Seals Board of Directors. I wanted to do something to help, so I started collaborating with friend and Easter Seals RI Board Member, Cindy Almonte.”

Tickets can be purchased online at, www.eastersealsri.org/events, or by visiting Hanson’s Pub or A Quick Tire in Wakefield, RI.
