Support Easter Seals Rhode Island

Local Consignment and Gift Boutique to Raise Money
with Easter Bunny Visit and Raffles

Wakefield—If you are looking for that special, albeit last-minute, Easter outfit for your child and want to support children with disabilities and special needs in Rhode Island, stop by the April Showers Children’s Consignment and Gift Boutique in West Warwick. On Saturday, April 16th, the boutique, located on2 Highland Street, will donate $1 to Easter Seals RI for every purchase of Easter related items from the store’s general consignment inventory. In addition, there will be a special visit from the Easter Bunny, who will be available for photos with donations going towards Easter Seals Rhode Island.

Other local businesses will join in, as well – Sweet Creations and Papa Gino’s are contributing items for raffles at the boutique.

“I am thrilled to support Easter Seals RI in this unique way. When a family buys an Easter item from April Showers, they are giving back to families in need and saving money,” said store owner, April Amiot.  “I am in the business to help families buy nice products at a fraction of retail cost.”

Since 2006, Easter Seals Rhode Island has provided Early Intervention services to children with physical and cognitive developmental delays. It is the goal of Easter Seals Rhode Island’s Early Intervention program to ensure that a child’s development remains on track during those first critical years.
