Providing Services for People with Disabilities and Their Families

Easter Seals of Southeastern Pennsylvania provided direct services to over 7,000 children and adults with disabilities last year. Our clients are challenged with a variety of disabilities including: brain damage, physical disabilities, spina bifida, muscular dystrophy, cerebral palsy, mental retardation, learning disabilities, genetic disorders, autism, hearing, vision and speech disorders and developmental delays.

The following programs help these individuals to receive needed therapeutic services, challenge their cognitive and motor skills, express their creativity and interact with their peers in a fun and comfortable environment.

Approved Private School
Specialized school program for children two to eight years of age.

Early Intervention
Services for children from birth to five years of age demonstrating a 25% delay.

Bright Beginnings
Specialized program for "at-risk" children who do not qualify for Early Intervention services. 

Assistive Technology
Assistive Technology services and devices are offered to both children and adults with disabilities.

STEP-UP!
A comprehensive program designed to meet the needs of children birth to five years of age who have pervasive developmental delay, relational difficulties or an autistic spectrum disorder.

Physical, Speech and Occupational Therapies
Provided as both home-based and center-based services.

Friendship Academy
An inclusive preschool children where children play to learn.
