Camp Nurse: Easter Seals Summer Residential Camp

Go to camp this summer and make a difference in the lives of campers living with disabilities! Easter Seals Camp Growing Green is an innovative and exciting camp located on the campus of the Pocono Environmental Education Center (PEEC) in Dingmans’s Ferry, PA. In this beautiful setting in the Pocono Mountains you will support the medical needs of campers and staff for five weeks (July 7 – August 4) with a few days prior for orientation. Sunday - Friday. Private cottage provided. Competitive wages. EOE.

Requirements:  (Minimum Education and Experience)

  •   Registered nurse (RN) with a license as required by that state law
  •   CPR and first aid certified
  •   Driver’s license
  •   Experience in both children and adult illness/injury care
  •   Desire to work with children and young adults with disabilities and other special needs
  •   Clearances (7/2013 or later): PA child abuse and criminal background, and FBI

Camp Director: Easter Seals Summer Day Camp in Allentown

Go to camp this summer and make a difference in the lives of campers living with disabilities! Easter Seals Camp Lily is an innovative and exciting camp located at the Jewish Community Center in Allentown, PA. Camp Lily campers participate in diverse activities from 9 to 3, Monday through Friday for six weeks, July 7 – August 8. (Training week is 6/30). Develop the curriculum, lead a team of counselors in its implementation, and provide leadership, mentoring and modeling of the skills needed to ensure each camper has a positive and successful experience. Competitive wages. EOE.

Requirements:  (Minimum Education and Experience)

  •   College degree in special education, psychology, occupational, speech, or physical therapy, or related field
  •   At least 2 years working in either a classroom or camp setting (after college)
  •   CPR and first aid certified
  •   Driver’s license
  •   Desire to work with children and young adults with disabilities and other special needs
  •   Clearances (7/2013 or later): PA child abuse and criminal background, and FBI.
