Community Work Teams
Easter Seals Sierra Nevada contracts with local businesses and organizations to provide supervised job training for people with developmental disabilities.
- Participants work in teams of up to five people.
- Full time Easter Seals Team Leader teaches job skills, supports individual goals and supervises the team.
- Teams work in integrated community settings in the Reno or Elko areas.
- Participants earn a training wage based on federal guidelines.
- Team members are encouraged to reach individual goals such as greater independence and personal vocational preference.
