New Merchandise Processing Center Opens
Easter Seals' new warehouse and processing center will create additional jobs for people with developmental disabilities. Located near Reno's Meadowood Mall, the facility will take advantage of the growth in donations to expand the range of merchandise in our Reno and Elko stores.

Thrift store donations are dropped off by the public at our Reno and Elko stores. In the Reno area, free pickup service is also available.

Response from the public has been tremendous, and the facility is already filling up with donated goods. Participants in the job training program will sort, clean and organize merchandise. Rolling racks and modular storage units will allow items to be transferred to our stores for immediate stocking on the sales floor. Overstock and seasonal items will be stored until they are needed.

The processing center will offer a variety of job-training options for people who are ready to move from a pre-vocational to a vocational setting. It will also serve as a training site for participants who are working part of the day in a community setting. For more information about these opportunities, call Jim Kilgore (pictured above on moving day) at (775) 322-6555.
