WIA - Workforce Investment Act Employment Grant
Primary Focus
Easter Seals Nevada assists unemployed and under-employed adults challenged with impairments and multiple barriers to employment and provides the job skills necessary to find jobs leading to self-sufficiency. The employment program provides job search tools, work readiness, resume building, job placement and training opportunities to prepare for the workforce.
Summary
Easter Seals Nevada's mission is to create solutions that help people with disabilities become self-sufficient through education, community partnerships and direct services. Programs are individualized to meet the specific needs of each candidate and may include support services, on-the-job training and employment services to focus on the abilities of the job seekers to ensure a successful job placement.
