Easter Seals West Kentucky Adult Day Care or Training Services

Caring for a family member? You're not alone. According to the National Family Caregivers Association, more than one quarter of the adult population has provided care to a family member or friend during the past year.  

Easter Seals Adult Day Care or Training Services offer programs and resources to help you provide the best possible care for your spouse, parent, adult child or another loved one who needs assistance with daily living.  

Easter Seals Adult Day Care or Training Services is designed to care for the disabled adult or senior adult.  Services provided by our loving and caring staff include:

Disabled adults and seniors who qualify benefit by having opportunities for socialization, loving care and support that helps maintain their health and well-being, and an affordable alternative to costly in-home or residential care.  Caregivers benefit by having a break from daily care-giving, physical and emotional support in caring for a loved one and convenience and flexibility to help meet a care giver's needs.

What’s Shape

 Gold is shaped by force, Crystal by fire.

Buttes by wind and rain,

Rivers by water and force.

Mountains by the unknown actions of the inner earth.

The heaviness of the load, stoops my shoulders.

There is no relief…

The tears like centuries stand at readiness,

O Lord, Where is the laughter?

 

My will at times, stood near the open door.

Desiring to flee…

But determination held onto its tattered coat tail,

While wresting with anxiety and depression.

O Lord, Where is the peace?

Understanding seemed to elude me,

As the unjustice camped around my door.

Trying to wrest away joy.

The roll call of the drum summons hope,

Even as the whirlwind of disappointment dances,

Somehow, hope is never wounded.

Oh God!! You remembered me!!

You alone saw my dilemma.

You allowed my life’s pathway to be paved with earths angels. They truly are….

They were never strangers to me and my crew.

Lisa, Kylie, Andrea, David, Don…..

And the whole content of earth’s angels in the earthly building.

Thank you my Lord for allowing me to see and feel the goodness of people making memories…Good Memories for the future of so many people.
