HR Generalist– Honolulu, Hawaii (FT)

This position is responsible for the leave and benefits administration to include Worker's Comp, accidents, is a member of the agency Safety Committee and a backup for our payroll administrator. Responsible for benefits' administration to include open enrollment periods, change in status or benefit options and distribution of information to employees. Responsible for the administration of Medical, 401(k) plan, Worker's Comp and reconciliation of benefit invoices. Responsible for leave administration to include TDI, FMLA, Military, Pregnancy and extended LOA's. Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration is required. Five years experience as a HR Generalist, two of which are in benefits administration.

Programs/Administration 

Vice President of Programs and Services – Honolulu, Hawaii (FT)

This position is responsible for leading and guiding all programs (Early Intervention, Home & Community Based Services and Autism) and services in alignment with Easter Seals Hawaii strategic direction, while ensuring the fiscal efficiency for the organization and service quality for those served.  This includes financial management, best practices, as well as recommending and implementing new programs. Requirements: Minimum of 5 years in a  senior management position with 7-9 years of progressive managerial experience in the field of developmental disabilities/autism; a successful history of leading and implementing quality programs and initiatives; Board Certified Behavioral Analyst Certification (BCBA).  A Master’s degree required.  A Doctoral degree from an accredited educational institution preferred.

Autism

 

Clinical Supervisor/Behavior Analyst BCBA level – Honolulu, Oahu (FT)

This position will provide direct services and clinical support for children and adolescents diagnosed with ASD and other related developmental disabilities within a center-based clinic, school, home and/or community setting for clients ages 2-21. The Clinical Supervisor will be responsible to supervise all behavior therapist level personnel, specifically with training and monitoring of the implementation of a behavior program In addition, performing assessments and intakes, supporting the various activities, projects, and programs requiring knowledge in behavior analysis.This position requires a Masters or Higher in a related field, a BCBA certification and have been certified as a BCBA for a minimum of 2 years, and has at least 5 years of experience in the field of Behavior Analysis and supervising at least 10 behavior therapists/technicians/tutors. Five years' experience working directly with children/adolescents diagnosed with ASD and other related developmental disabilities in an in-home and center-based ABA/VB-based program. Minimum of two years supervising ABA/VB-based client programs and staff.

Behavior Technician/Therapist – Honolulu, Oahu (FT)

This position provides direct intervention services to children diagnosed with Autism and other related developmental disabilities. Position is under the direct supervision of the Clinical Supervisor/Behavior Analyst. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field; training in behavioral supports; six months to one year experience working directly with children/adolescents with Autism in an ABA program and in a structured setting. Determination of position will depend on the level of training, proficiency and program experience with specific teaching procedures of ITT and NET. Bachelor's degree required.

Early Intervention

Early Intervention Program Manager– Hilo, Hawaii(FT)

This position will be responsible for daily operations and management of the Early Intervention Program, including staff management, coordination of direct services, program planning, contractual compliance, budget/billing, and other overall program administration. Experience in EI, early childhood education or pediatric rehabilitation is preferred, along with a minimum 3-5 years of managerial experience required. Bachelors Degree is also required.

Occupational Therapist – Lihue, Kauai (FT)

This position provides occupational therapy services to children from 0 to 3 years old with special needs.  Experience working with children in the field of early intervention preferred. Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy required and must be a registered Occupational Therapist (OTR) by the American Occupational Therapy Association. 

KAB Parent Group Assistant – Lihue, Kauai (PT)

This position provides support to program participants ina safe and positive learning environment enabling each person to participate in the options and opportunities offered in the child care setting. Requires a high school diploma and current First Aid and CPR certification. Experience working with children and individuals with a developmental disability, behavioral managementtraining and/or experience preferred.

Special Educator or EI Teacher – Hilo, Hawaii (FT)

This position is responsible for the planning and implementation of educational developmentally appropriate services for infants/toddlers with special needs in a trans disciplinary model of service delivery. Required: home visits and visits to other community program sites and a M.Ed. Special Education or a Bachelor’s degree in Education with an emphasis in Special Education. Experience working with infants and toddlers preferred

Physical Therapist – Hilo, Hawaii (FT)

This position provides physical therapy services and implements individualized treatment plans for program participants, including written reports and evaluations. Bachelors degree and license to provide physical therapy in Hawaii required, experience in pediatrics and/or with children preferred. This position is 30hours/week.

Speech Language Pathologist – Hilo, Hawaii (FT) & Kapolei, Oahu (PT)

This position provides speech language therapy services, apply principles and practices to children with special needs, and promote  optimum speech language development. Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology or equivalent and license to provide speech language therapy in Hawaii required. CFY accepted. Experience working with children with special needs in the field of Early Intervention is preferred.

Youth Services

Activity Leader Honolulu (PT)

This position plans, coordinates and supervises activities and personal care for youth with developmental disabilities. The Activity Leader's schedule is Monday to Friday afternoons with occasional mornings, 19hrs/week. High school degree, driver's license and 1st Aid/CPR certification is required. 2 years’ experience working with children or adults with special needs and knowledge or experience in lesson and activity planning for school age children is preferred.

Home & Community Based Services

Case Coordinators – Honolulu (FT), Ewa Beach (FT) &  Kapolei (FT)

These positions maintain a caseload of participants in Adult Day Health program and support services for 15-20 participants. Bachelor’s degree and two years of experience working with DD population required. This position also requires a valid drivers license and personal vehicle.

Program Manager – Lihue & Waimea, Kauai (FT) 

This position is responsible for the overall administration, operation and management of the program, to include staffing, coordination of direct services, program planning, contractual compliance and budget/billing. Four year degree in Human Services, Special Education, Family Health Services or related field is required. Experience in the field of DD preferred and two (2) years of supervisory experience required.

Program Assistant – Maui (FT)

This position provides personal assistance and care to adults with disabilities including activities of daily living in the Adult Day Health Program. HS diploma orequivalent is required. Experience with DD population is preferred.

 

Community Based Providers – All Over Oahu (PT/FT)
                                                     Hilo, Hawaii (PT/FT)
                                                     Waimea, Kauai (PT)
                                                     Lihue, Kauai (PT/FT) 
                                                     Maui (PT/FT)

These positions provide assistance and coaching to individuals with developmental disabilities to meet goals and outcomes that increase their independence, develop natural supports and friendships, and contribute to society.  Positions will also coach individuals in a variety of goals, including socialization, communication, and money management. These are entry level positions and a High School diploma or equivalent is required, as well as a minimum of 24 hours experience working with DD population, valid driver’s license, and ability to travel to various parts of the island.
