Pictures of just a few people your gift will helpEaster Seals Presidents' Council was created in 1995 to honor the generous individuals who provide an annual outright gift of $1,000 or more to help meet the challenges we face. Easter Seals' premiere recognition club, the Presidents' Council is comprised of friends who share the belief that everyone with a disability or developmental special need deserves access to quality, comprehensive and compassionate programs and services.

Any individual who provides an annual outright gift or gifts totaling $1,000 or more in a 12-month period is recognized in the Presidents' Council. Some friends pay in quarterly or monthly installments; others give a one-time gift each year. These are direct gifts to benefit programs, and are not related to special events or tickets sales or other premiums.

Friends contributing at the Presidents' Council level are making a vital difference--creating solutions that change lives.  You can become a member of the Presidents' Council on several different levels:

Independence Level  $25,000 and up
Provides four new starts for adults with disabilities who thought they might never work.  Your gift assures that these individuals will receive the assessment, skill development and job placement help they need to become employed in community businesses.

Empowerment Level  $10,000 - $24,999
Thirty-six special needs high school students will receive the vocational testing they need to accurately assess their abilities, aptitude and interests in order to guide them to successful career choices.
 
Opportunity Level  $5,000 - $9,999
Nine people with disabilities will receive home visits to help them secure the tools, skills and information they need to function independently in their homes.
Provides fifty days of specific job training skills performed in area businesses.
 
Dignity Level  $2,500 - $4,999
Provides over fifty hours of counseling and service coordinating to those seeking help.
Provides for special classes devoted to customer service, computer literacy, driver's education, life skills and housekeeping.
 
Ability Level  $1,000 - $2,499
Provides walkers, canes, crutches, bedside commodes and other non-fitted medical equipment to those in need.
