The ideal candidate will possess 10 years of demonstrated success in donor solicitation, individual giving, cultivation of major gifts and capital campaign management. Qualifications include 10 years of experience as a development professional with progressively increasing responsibility, knowledge of estate & charitable giving and understanding prospect research. Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree, preferably an advanced degree, proven ability to lead, inspire and motivate staff, volunteers and prospective donors, excellent written, verbal and listening communication skills, knowledge and experience with fundraising software, including Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge. A bachelor’s degree is preferred; however, an associate’s degree will be considered. Certification in activity planning is a plus.
