Easter Seals Alaska offers quality and dignified in-home services.  Whether it's a convalescence period or caring for a chronic or terminal illness, most patients wish to be home, surrounded by their family and friends.  Easter Seals Alaska offers a variety of services to help people with disabilities address life's challenges and achieve personal goals.

Personal Care Services 

Easter Seals Alaska is dedicated to helping seniors, or those with disabilities, to remain in the comfort and security of their home.  We achieve this by providing reliable, in-home personal care attendants that deliver a tender touch of compassion and capability.  Personal care service provides hands on care to clients and assistance with daily living activities such as: bathing and dressing, personal hygiene, meal planning and preparation, light housekeeping, medication assistance, transfers, eating assistance, ambulation and toileting assistance.

Respite Services

Respite service provides family members relief from their care giver responsibilities.  You can leave the home knowing your loved one is cared for with dignity and self respect.  Services include: meal planning and preparation, socialization, medication reminders, companionship and transporting to and from community outings.

Chore Services

Chore services provides a clean and safe home enviornment.  Services include: light house keeping, shopping & errands and meal preparation.  A worker can as well provide transportation to and from medical appointments.

Day Habilitation Services

Day habilitation services provides out of home support in acquiring or improving social and adaptive skills in a community setting.  This service assists in achieving the personal goals of each individual.

Supported Employment Services

Supported employment services provides supervision and support in developing and maintaining employment skills.  A Job Coach is available to assist in pre-employment activities, such as applications, resume development, job searches and interviewing skills.
