Camp Easter Seals OregonDay Camp- Medford, Oregon Our Rogue Valley center offers day camp sessions throughout the summer, a great opportunity to make new friends and memories!
Residential Camps- Lyons, Oregon and Vaughn, Washington Check out photos of campers having fun at Upward Bound Camp in July 2013. Session 1 photos - age 7-25 Session 2 photos - age 25 and up Summer camp sessions provide a safe and fun experience for children and adults living with disabilities. Summer camp creates an environment that emphasizes camper’s abilities and independence, as well as development of leisure and social skills, and an appreciation of the outdoors. Campers make friends, learn about and explore nature, sing songs, gain confidence, and create memories that linger long after camp fires have died down. Easter Seals Oregon offers two residential camp locations to Oregon campers. In Oregon, we offer two five-day and four-night sessions in July at Upward Bound Camp near Lyons, Oregon, located 30 miles east of Salem. Campers will find additional sessions offered at Camp Stand by Me in Vaughn, Washington, located about three hours north of Portland, and operated by Easter Seals Washington. Both residential camps are fully accredited by the American Camping Association and are tailored for children and adults with special needs. The Easter Seals Oregon Camping Program is supported by generous donations from a variety of individual and corporate donors. A portion of this support is used to provide financial assistance to campers who without help would be unable to participate in a camp experience.
