Easter Seals Michigan's Program Overview Brochure

Children and adults with disabilities and other special needs find proven, best-practice services designed to meet their individual needs at Easter Seals Michigan. Expert health professionals from a variety of disciplines work with each person to overcome obstacles to independence through person centered planning. 

 

Adult Services:  Easter Seals Michigan provides a comprehensive array of outpatient behavioral health services to support the recovery of individuals with a serious mental illness, substance abuse or co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders.

AgrAbility: Helps farmers with disabilites and their families by adapting their equipment to allow them to continue farming.

Behavioral Health Services
Psychiatric, therapeutic, community-based case management and support for adults 18-years-old and beyond.

Centro Latino 
Specializes in providing culturally sensitive behavioral health services to support the recovery of Spanish-speaking adults with a serious behavioral health disorder.

Children's Behavioral Health Services:  Comprehensive, evidenced-based and co-occuring behavioral health and substance use services. 

Children's Developmental Therapies and Services: A variety of early intervention therapeutic services offered statewide for children with autism, speech and language delays, motor and social skill issues, as well as sensory integration dysfunction.

Collaborative Solutions
Behavioral health services for Oakland County residents who are involved in the criminal justice system, including diversion from jail into treatment for those who have committed non violent misdemeanors.

Dreams Unlimited Clubhouse:  Dreams is a wellness, recovery program where members provide support to one another. They participate in social/recreational activities, build skills, and take advantage of opportunities through the career club, independent and supported employment, transitional employment, and supported education.

The Miracle League of Michigan: Located in Southfield, the Miracle League of Michigan is a program that provides children with behavioral and/or physical disabilities or special needs an opportunity to play baseball as a team member in an organized league. Competitive and non-competitive leagues are available during the summer and fall seasons.  

Services in Spanish and Russian
Easter Seals Michigan offers Oakland County individuals and families a full continuum of culturally competent behavioral health services in English and Spanish.
