Provides funding for Easter Seals' Military and Veterans Services, to provide critical and timely financial assistance when no other resource is available, for veterans, service members and their families.
This fund was established by Donna Ouellette, the mother of decorated Marine Cpl. Michael Ouellette, who was killed in combat in Afghanistan in 2009. The gift was rooted in the memory of a loving son, and a brave young man who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to his country.
Donna created the fund to honor Mike's memory, pay tribute to his service and courage and help other service members and their families thrive in the face of many challenges and the sacrifices they make for our freedom.
